I’ve dedicated a significant portion of my closet to button-ups recently. They’re such no-brainers for 9-5 wear, but they’re so versatile that I frequently reach for them outside of work hours as well.
I’m especially drawn to versions in colorful or eye-catching prints, and with little details that make them special. I love the beach-like hues of this top, and the diagonal vent in back that elevates it beyond a basic shirt.
I wore this outfit to the office recently, swapping these ripped jeans for a cleaner non-distressed denim option. Come summer, I’ll totally wear these with a pair of cutoff shorts and flat sandals, or open as a light topper for a sleeveless sundress. See what I mean? So versatile.
Also, I didn’t intentionally assemble this outfit entirely of Zara finds, but the fact that I did speaks to the brand’s ability to create pieces that are both classic and modern, chic and comfortable, and, of course, budget-friendly.
